Who We Are
The town council is a non-profit 501c3 volunteer advisory board representing the community of Castaic working alongside the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors and various County Departments such as Public Safety, Regional Planning, and Parks & Recreation. The Castaic Area Town Council is comprised of 10 (ten) elected representatives from 5 (five) regions, within unincorporated Castaic. Elections are held every 2 (two) years, with a 4 (four) year commitment. We address upcoming projects and infrastructure improvements ranging from community concerns to land use, and strategic planning for the Town of Castaic. Safety, Regional Planning, and Parks & Recreation.

The proposed project will involve construction of a grading of 5,456-cubic-yards on slopes greater than 50 percent and within 50 feet of a primary significant ridgeline in the Castaic Area Community Standards District, associated with the construction of a one-story 3,865-square-foot single-family residence with an 857-square-foot attached garage, 236-square-foot front porch, and 991-square-foot attached patio.

Community Standards District
Castaic is now protected by a Community Standards District (CSD) that provides guidelines and development standards for the Castaic Area, helping us preserve our rural and aesthetic characteristics.
