WHO WE ARE

 

The town council is a non-profit 501c3 volunteer advisory board representing the community of Castaic working alongside the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors and various County Departments such as Public Safety, Regional Planning, and Parks & Recreation. The Castaic Area Town Council is comprised of 10 (ten) elected representatives from 5 (five) regions, within unincorporated Castaic. Elections are held every 2 (two) years, with a 4 (four) year commitment. We address upcoming projects and infrastructure improvements ranging from community concerns to land use, and strategic planning for the Town of Castaic.ic Safety, Regional Planning, and Parks & Recreation. Project: The Proposed Project is a request for a Solid Fill Conditional Use Permit (CUP) for Planning Area 4 (PA-4) within the Valencia Commerce Center (VCC) to accept approximately 1.35 million cubic yards (mcy) of dirt from construction projects in the region (Proposed Project). PA-4 comprises approximately 33.3 acres and is located in unincorporated Los Angeles County, west of Commerce Center Drive, generally bounded by Franklin Parkway to the north and west, Castaic Creek to the south, and the Logix office building to the east (Project Site).

Los Angeles County Case No: RPPL2023005350. The subject property is zoned M-1-1/2-DP (Light Industrial-Development Program). No change of zone is requested.
